Job description


The position will consist of the following requirements.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred.
• US citizen (i.e. American Passport/Green card) preferred but not mandatory.
• Working technical knowledge in Aerospace & Aero-Defense products in general and aerostructures, Aircraft interior components and systems or equivalent industry.
• 10 years' experience in capturing new business in those related products.
• Ability to work independently as well as work with and a team of individuals in the office and across functional areas, as well as being able to work with the company's Business Units in NA and overseas.
• Effective time management, facilitation, and organizational skills; understand and implement Risk Management principles, and able to communicate effectively with current and with new customers.
Desired Skills:
• Strong attention to strategy, implementation, delegation and follow up.
• Strong influencing skills and ability to build alliances.
• Excellent communication with interpersonal and analytical skills
Daily Responsibilities
• Work closely with customers, cross-functional teams, management and assigned personnel to plan and develop scope, deliverables, work plans, budget, and proposal development efforts.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events as needed.
• Develop and mature professional relationships with potential customers from the Aerospace and Aero-Defense related companies, suppliers, and industries.
Communication Skills:
The individual must be capable of preparing and presenting detailed reports and presentations to customers, management, peers, and partners, thus a high level of competency in both written and communication. Ability to communicate in French or German is a plus.
Technical Skills:
The individual must be competent in engineering/technologies necessary to perform the required work and to be able to understand technical papers and discussions.
Computer Skills:
The individual shall be fluent working with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Besides the academic degrees, no special certificates, licenses, or registrations are required.
Work Environment and Place of Employment:
The primary work environment shall be in Hutchinson-ADI's Bellevue office. The individual may be required to travel both within the US and throughout the world.
Salary range will be set at $160,000 to $180,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
