Employment Law (PAGA) Attorney (Remote/Hybrid)

As a Employment Law Attorney, you will work in a primarily remote environment, with as-needed travel for mandatory meetings, depositions and appearances.


Compensation

  • $230,000 - $300,000 / year
  • Quarterly Bonus Opportunities.


Daily Objectives

  • Lead PAGA litigation matters, including case strategy, discovery, depositions, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
  • Advise clients on California labor and employment law compliance, helping mitigate risk and prevent PAGA claims.
  • Monitor legal developments and provide strategic guidance on evolving PAGA regulations and case law.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through trusted legal counsel and ongoing support.
  • Drive business development through client presentations, networking, and identification of new opportunities.
  • Mentor and supervise attorneys and staff, reviewing legal work product to ensure quality and successful case outcomes.



Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of CA Employment Law experience.
  • Active license and in good-standing with the California State Bar.
  • Juris Doctorate Degree.
  • Must have recent experience defending against PAGA claims and Class Actions.
  • Experience with public entity defense a plus.
  • Superior research, analytical, negotiating ability.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Commitment to proactive case management.
