This role is focused on building and enhancing backend services, APIs, and API platform capabilities within a highly distributed, AWS based environment. The engineer will develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices while contributing across the API lifecycle, including implementation, versioning, security, performance, monitoring, and production support. The role requires strong hands-on development experience with Java or Python, modern DevOps practices, AWS services, and API management technologies. You will work closely with Product, DevOps, Security, and Architecture teams in an Agile environment to deliver reliable API solutions that meet enterprise security, availability, and performance requirements. Required qualifications to be successful in this role . 5+ years of hands on software development experience using Java (8–21) and/or Python. . Experience developing RESTful APIs, backend services, and microservices in distributed environments. .
