Qualcomm's CAD Infrastructure team develops and operates mission‑critical engineering platforms used by thousands of engineers across CPU, DSP, AI, SoC, Physical Design, Verification, and Software organizations. We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and scale modern web applications, automation platforms, data services, and AI‑enabled solutions that improve engineering productivity across the company.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys working across the full technology stack—from intuitive front‑end user experiences to highly scalable backend services, cloud‑native infrastructure, data platforms, and AI‑driven workflows.

You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, technical program managers, DevOps engineers, and infrastructure architects to deliver tools that are used daily by Qualcomm's engineering community.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade full stack applications used across engineering organizations.
  • Build modern web UIs using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python, Node.js, FastAPI, Express, or similar technologies.
  • Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Build and optimize large‑scale data platforms leveraging SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Develop automation workflows for engineering productivity, infrastructure management, analytics, and reporting.
  • Partner with infrastructure teams to deploy and operate applications in Kubernetes and containerized environments.
  • Build dashboards, reporting platforms, and data visualization tools.
  • Integrate AI/ML and LLM technologies into internal engineering workflows where applicable.
  • Drive software architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering excellence across the team.
  • Troubleshoot performance, scalability, reliability, and security issues in production environments.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business and engineering requirements into technical solutions.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong experience building and deploying full stack web applications.
