About the job
As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will tackle compelling challenges in a dynamic, hybrid work environment. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of robust applications, bridging the gap between scalable Java back-end systems and highly responsive Angular and React front-ends.
In this role, you will navigate a complex, multi-application ecosystem, requiring a deep understanding of architectural dependencies and modern engineering practices. You will act as a catalyst for innovation by integrating AI-driven tools into the daily engineering workflow to enhance design, accelerate development, and streamline code reviews. We value engineers who are not only technically proficient but also passionate about knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software across the entire stack.
Manage and optimize database interactions across both SQL and MongoDB environments.
Implement and maintain rigorous testing standards utilizing modern frameworks (e.g., Cucumber) to ensure high code quality and reliability.
Leverage AI-assisted tooling to optimize the software development lifecycle, from initial architecture design to comprehensive peer reviews.
Actively facilitate knowledge transfer across the engineering organization, ensuring team members are aligned on best practices and architectural decisions.
Analyze complex system logs and large datasets to troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in full-stack software development with a strong focus on Java.
Hands-on experience developing user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks, specifically Angular and React.
Experience designing and interacting with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL and MongoDB.
Experience with version control systems and collaborative development using GitHub.
Practical experience utilizing AI tools to assist with software design, active development, and pull request (PR) reviews.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience writing automated tests using frameworks such as Ruby and Java Cucumber.
Familiarity with large-scale data analytics, logging, and monitoring tools (e.g., BigQuery, Splunk).
Experience or familiarity with the .NET framework.
Proven ability to navigate and engineer solutions within complex, multi-application environments and distributed systems.
Exceptional knowledge transfer skills, with a track record of effectively mentoring peers and documenting complex technical domains.
