Job description

Senior Full Stack Engineer

Position: Full-Time – Onsite Location: Dedham, MA

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will join a cross-functional team developing mission-critical Cybersecurity Manager Applications, specifically supporting the Encryptor Manager product line. This role focuses on building highly secure, scalable, and advanced applications using modern Java and React technologies. You'll work at the cutting edge of application development, contributing to systems that support national defense and secure communications. This is a 100% onsite position with no remote option.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development & Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java and React. Contribute to the ongoing development of the Encryptor Manager platform. Apply sound software engineering principles throughout the development lifecycle. Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
  • Cybersecurity & Secure Development: Develop application code using security best practices. Support secure communications and encryption management systems. Apply knowledge of PKI, certificates, and secure interfaces as applicable.
  • Collaboration & Agile Execution: Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Interact effectively with project teams to meet technical and schedule goals. Provide technical input and leadership as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Quickly learn and apply new technologies and tools. Support system enhancements and increasing system complexity. Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related STEM field
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong Java (Enterprise Java) and React experience
  • Experience with Spring and Hibernate
  • Database experience (SQL / PostgreSQL)
  • Agile development experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
