Senior Full Stack Java Developers are experienced software professionals who design, develop, and maintain both the front-end and back-end components of web applications using Java and related technologies. They typically work with frameworks such as Spring Boot for the backend and may use JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React for the frontend. In addition to coding, they often lead development teams, make architectural decisions, and ensure best practices are followed throughout the software development lifecycle.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a senior full stack Java developer?

A Senior Full Stack Java Developer needs advanced proficiency in Java, front-end frameworks (such as Angular or React), and a solid understanding of databases, supported by a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. Experience with tools like Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, version control systems (e.g., Git), and cloud platforms is typically required, along with relevant certifications. • Implement operating system services running on SEL's ruggedized computers or in virtualized environments.
  • Employ threat modeling, static analysis, vulnerability scanning, fuzz testing and other methods to ensure the products being developed meet the highest standards for quality and security.
  • Build and maintain CI pipelines to build and test new product features.

This job might be for you if:

  • You have 7+ years of experience and are interested in full stack development using Kubernetes, docker, go, and React.
  • You want to take ownership of the software development and testing process from conception to product release and maintenance.
