Job description

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Follow and collaborate on standards and practices to ensure a high quality.
  • Develop and maintain support applications and integrations to support business needs.
  • Assist with quality assurance tasks including code reviews, testing and review of peer code.
  • Work with stake holders and Manager of Software Development to analyze needs.
  • Provide support to tier 1 support and end users as needed.
  • Design and maintain data structures and storage to support application and business needs.
  • Assist in maintaining servers to ensure they are stable and operational.
  • Maintain documentation and tracking of efforts as expected.
  • Communicate and impart knowledge and skillsets to internal personnel as directed.
  • Work with and assist the Manager of Software Development, and the VP of IT to accomplish business requirements and goals.
  • Perform other related assignments as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • 3 Years of SQL experience
  • 3 years of experience with Javascript
  • Ability and desire to learn new languages and technology.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with data integration
  • Experience Node.js and/or React.js
  • Experience with web services (Both REST and SOAP).
  • Familiarity with GIT.
  • Ability to work with internal and external personnel in a calm, professional manner.

Experience:

  • 3 years professional software development (required)
  • 3 Years of SQL experience (required)
  • 3-5 years Node/Redux/React or other javascript (preferred)
  • Mobile Experience (preferred)
  • Other languages such as R, python, C#, etc.
