Job description

We are seeking an Application Technical Lead / Senior Full Stack Developer to join a growing data technology team supporting enterprise-scale management initiatives. This role will play a critical part in modernizing and enhancing a cloud-based pricing application

environment that is transforming how business users make pricing and discounting decisions. The ideal candidate will have experience building data-intensive applications in AWS, strong React and Python development skills, and exposure to ETL/data transformation platforms such as Databricks. This individual will evaluate existing application architecture, document business logic, recommend modernization strategies, and lead ongoing development efforts to support future pricing products and APIs. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly

technical developer who enjoys solving complex business problems, working with large datasets, influencing system architecture, and driving technical excellence.

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document existing application architecture and business logic.
  • Develop and enhance enterprise pricing applications used across the organization.
  • Design, build, and maintain applications utilizing AWS serverless technologies.
  • Develop scalable front-end solutions using ReactJS.
  • Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
  • Partner with data engineering teams to deliver seamless integration of pricing and customer data.
  • Support modernization efforts aimed at making pricing applications more dynamic, scalable, and maintainable.
  • Lead technical discussions and provide architectural recommendations.
  • Establish software development standards and best practices.
  • Oversee and collaborate with third-party development partners and offshore resources.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and project delivery.
  • Drive the adoption of AI-assisted development tools while maintaining code quality, supportability, and documentation standards.
  • Support future initiatives including:
    • Pricing approval workflows
    • Price elasticity applications
    • Customer-facing pricing APIs
    • Next-generation pricing products

 Required Experience

  • 3-5+ years of software development experience
  • Experience building data-intensive or analytics-focused applications
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ReactJS, Python
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Experience delivering projects within Agile software development environments
  • Experience building applications using AWS serverless frameworks
  • Experience working with large enterprise datasets
  • Experience integrating data into customer-facing applications
  • Experience with Databricks, ETL/ELT, Data Transformation, and CI/CD

Location Requirement: Candidates must be willing to work onsite in Winston-Salem, NC, 3 days per week. Candidates seeking C2C with H1b transfers,

1099 subcontracting, or relocation WILL NOT be considered.
