Raytheon Software Engineering is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Air C2 (Command and Control) and Sensors software department in Fullerton, California. * Our Culture | RTX Careers What you will do: * The Air C2 SW product teams develop Command and Control mission critical applications and leverage DevSecOps processes along with best industry practices to meet the threats of today and tomorrow.
* Perform as a key contributor working as part of a high performing Software Product Team.
* Participate in software C2 software application design, implementation, test and maintenance.
* Collaborate in a cross-functional / Agile environment
* Travel up to 25% Qualifications you must have: * Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
* Experience with Object Oriented Design and Development, and Java application development.
* Experience with databases as part of the software solution.
* Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance as and when required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer: * Experience in software engineering in the Command & Control mission planning domain.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work effectively within large, cross-functional teams.
* Knowledgeable in JavaScript / TypeScript, with experience in building dynamic and responsive frontend UI applications.
* Experience with asynchronous communication patterns, particularly using Message Brokering platforms, WebSockets or similar technologies.
* Experience with modern web UI frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, or React, and a solid understanding component-based architecture.
* Experience working with a range of infrastructure and platforms
* Experience with one or more scripting languages
* Experience with reactive programming paradigms and frameworks for building scalable, event-driven applications. The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
