And that's the kind of work we want to be part of.The Senior R&D Scientist, Novel Biologics Delivery will join our Research & Development team in Bend, Oregon to lead the conceptualization, development, and experimental validation of innovative drug delivery platforms for proteins, peptides, and nucleic acids.   • Translate analytical, developability, and mechanistic insights into innovative formulation and drug delivery platforms for injectable biologics, including mAbs, ADCs, and emerging modalities.
  • Apply translational science to design and assess novel drug delivery strategies.
  • Apply protein stability, aggregation, and interfacial behavior principles to guide formulation design for complex biologics.
  • Design, execute, and interpret advanced characterization and stability studies to guide development decisions.
  • Incorporate injectability, local tissue interactions, biological fate, and translational performance into formulation design for injectable biologics.
  • Develop and apply in vitro and ex vivo performance models to evaluate novel injectable formulation and delivery concepts.
  • Partner with cross-functional R&D teams to integrate analytical, formulation, process, and delivery perspectives into differentiated biologic drug product strategies.
What we are looking for:
  • Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences, biochemistry, biophysics, chemical engineering, bioengineering, or a related discipline,
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong understanding of biologic developability, including protein stability, aggregation, degradation, interfacial behavior, and formulation-biologic interactions, DMPK and basic pharmacology
  • Hands-on experience designing and interpreting formulation screening, stress, and stability studies for biologic drug products
  • Expertise applying analytical characterization methods to connect molecular attributes with formulation performance and development decisions
  • Working knowledge of injectable drug product development and sterile processing fundamentals
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional R&D teams
