Job description

Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A)
Role Overview
We are seeking an analytical and driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our corporate finance team and provide strategic financial support to our operational business units. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the monthly forecasting cycles, managing annual budgeting processes, and delivering robust financial reporting.
This is a high-visibility, hybrid role for a self-starter who excels at turning complex data sets into actionable business insights. You will partner directly with operational leaders, streamline financial reporting packages, and execute high-impact ad-hoc analyses. If you have a strong foundation in corporate finance, exceptional Excel modeling skills, and a passion for operational efficiency, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Forecasting & Budgeting
• Monthly Forecasting: Facilitate and support the monthly forecast process by validating key financial inputs, identifying process improvements, and partnering with business leaders to drive operational efficiencies.
• Annual Budgeting: Drive the annual budget process and long-range financial planning cycles, ensuring alignment with organizational strategic goals.
• Process Optimization: Leverage technology and system solutions to automate workflows, streamline financial reporting, and improve forecasting accuracy.
Reporting & Ad-Hoc Analysis
• Deliverables Management: Own and execute recurring weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting packages for senior leadership.
• Financial Modeling: Utilize advanced Excel functions to build complex financial models, conduct variance analyses, and support strategic decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with diverse teams across the organization to deliver ad-hoc financial analyses and business intelligence insights.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience Baseline: 3 to 5+ years of dedicated professional experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), corporate accounting, or financial modeling.
• Technical Mastery: Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (complex formulas, dynamic modeling, and large data set manipulation) required for ad-hoc analysis and report automation.
• Core Competencies: Proven experience participating in end-to-end forecasting and budgeting cycles. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines.
Preferred Attributes
• Experience utilizing enterprise financial software and ERP systems (such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, or Essbase).
• Background in dynamic, multi-site operational environments (such as hospitality, multi-unit retail, or service operations).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to present financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
