Job Title: Senior Field Service Engineer - Linear Accelerator (LINAC)
Location: Chicago, IL (Full-time, Permanent)

About the Company:
A nationally recognized independent service organization is expanding its oncology engineering team in the Midwest. The company provides specialized maintenance and technical support for advanced radiation therapy systems, partnering with healthcare providers to ensure maximum system uptime and patient safety.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Field Service Engineer, you will lead the installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Linear Accelerators (LINAC) across the greater Chicago area. This is a field-based position with limited regional travel. You will support high-volume clinical sites, respond to emergency service calls, and serve as a technical resource for junior engineers when needed.
Key Requirements:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience servicing medical Linear Accelerators
• Strong background in electronics, electrical, or electro-mechanical engineering
• Experience working on Varian or Elekta systems preferred
• Ability to read schematics, analyze system faults, and utilize diagnostic software
