JOB SUMMARY
Start your career in fashion and creative production as an Assistant Photo Stylist at Weissman. You'll work alongside our experienced styling and studio teams to prepare merchandise, coordinate samples, and support on-set styling for professional photo shoots. From organizing costumes and accessories to helping ensure every garment looks its best on camera, you'll play a hands-on role in creating the visual content that brings the Weissman brand to life.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare garments, shoes, tights, accessories, and other merchandise for scheduled photo shoots, ensuring products are organized and production-ready.
  • Pull product samples from inventory and coordinate requests for additional merchandise based on upcoming production needs.
  • Check in, track, organize, and maintain accurate sample information within ShotFlow.
  • Support shot list preparation, including coordinating model and hair and makeup assignments.
  • Generate sample tags and maintain accurate barcode scanning and product assignments throughout the production process.
  • Pack and organize wardrobe, styling kits, hair and makeup supplies, and other materials for internal and external photo shoots.
  • Assist with garment pinning, fit adjustments, and on-set styling to ensure products are presented accurately and consistently.
  • Support daily photo shoot execution by staying aware of shot list priorities and adapting quickly as production needs change.
  • Maintain organized styling areas and back stock while supporting wardrobe breakdown, sample returns, and post-shoot organization.
  • Partner with Photo Stylists and other Creative team members to support efficient workflows and maintain a clean, organized, and production-ready studio environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Associate's degree in Fashion, Merchandising, or a related field preferred.
Experience
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in styling, fashion, studio production, or a related environment preferred.
  • Previous exposure to fashion, retail, photography, visual merchandising, wardrobe, or creative production is a plus.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with changing priorities preferred.

Knowledge, Skills + Abilities
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prepare, track, and manage merchandise and styling materials accurately.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accurate, consistent product presentation.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize work and adapt quickly to changing shoot schedules and production needs.
  • Ability to support garment styling, pinning, fit adjustments, and other on-set styling needs with direction from experienced team members.
  • Ability to follow creative direction and maintain established brand and styling standards.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with Stylists, Photographers, Hair and Makeup Artists, and production partners.
  • Ability to maintain organized styling areas, back stock, supplies, and other production materials.
  • Ability to learn and use ShotFlow and other systems used to track samples and support photo production.
  • Resourceful and proactive approach to supporting daily studio needs and solving problems as they arise.
  • Enthusiasm for fashion, styling, photography, and creative production with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
