Job description

Position: Senior Software Developer
Location: Morgantown, WV
Salary: $126,025 - $143,000
This role will be responsible for supporting IT software development project aimed at creating the next generation of applications for our federal client. Also responsible for the following:
โ€ข Designing, developing, writing, and integrating web-based applications;
โ€ข Developing complex java script and integrating with REST based services;
โ€ข Developing components and features using JavaScript, HTML, and SCSS with Angular in an Agile/Scrum environment;
โ€ข Using Rally to monitor and track work with AWS for continuous integration;
โ€ข Ensuring the user interface is 508 compliant and easy to use, with advanced features for power users;
โ€ข Conducting functional (manual) testing for all front-end features before they are released each Sprint;
โ€ข Writing unit tests using Karma and adding to the applications' build structures centered on Gulp;
โ€ข Establishing new features each sprint for product owners and shareholders;
โ€ข Participating in all aspects of product development, from requirements analysis to product release;
โ€ข Troubleshooting and debugging applications as necessary;
โ€ข Keeping abreast of competing technologies and adapting KeyLogic's technologies to provide business-benefiting solutions while balancing platform limitations.
โ€ข Telecommuting permitted anywhere in the U.S.
Requirements:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
โ€ข Must have 5 years of work experience in front-end web development using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, SCSS and RESTful APIs in an Agile/Scrum environment.
โ€ข Must be knowledgeable of the following: (1) Angular; (2) Restful webservices; and (3) AWS.
