Description 

GEORGE MCKENNA ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple commercial electrical construction projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

What Youโ€™ll Do: 

  • Lead and oversee electrical field operations across multiple commercial projects 
  • Supervise and mentor Superintendents, Foremen, Journeymen, Apprentices, and subcontractors 
  • Develop manpower plans and ensure projects remain on schedule 
  • Review blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and project schedules 
  • Monitor labor productivity, quality, and job-site performance 
  • Identify and resolve field conflicts and construction issues 
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards 
  • Coordinate inspections, materials, equipment, and workforce needs 
  • Partner with Project Managers, General Contractors, clients, and inspectors 
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and represent GME professionally 

What Youโ€™ll Bring: 

  • 10+ years of commercial electrical construction experience 
  • 10+ years as an Electrical Superintendent or senior field leader 
  • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and the NEC 
  • Proven experience leading multiple field teams and large commercial projects 
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications, and schedules 
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software 
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the DFW area 

Preferred 

  • Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician License 
  • OSHA 30 certification 
  • Experience with large commercial, healthcare, data center, industrial, education, or municipal projects 
  • Experience with $5M+ electrical project scopes
