Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Sr. Electrical Proejct Manager in Indianapolis, IN. The Senior Electrical Project Manager will lead heavy industrial and hyperscale data center projects from pre-construction through final turnover, ensuring all work is completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in project cost projections, complex scheduling, and managing multiple large-scale commercial projects concurrently while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Job Type: Permanent

Annual Salary: $145,000 to $160,000 Annually BOE

Licenses/Certifications Required:

  • OSHA 30

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and plan electrical projects with General Contractors from pre-construction through turnover phase.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly and bi-weekly cost reports, including profit projections and Work in Process (WIP) tracking.
  • Manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously, working with field superintendents to ensure daily operations meet budget and timeline goals.
  • Build, implement, and update detailed project schedules to identify and monitor the performance of specific tasks.
  • Prepare and maintain the Schedule of Values and Pay Applications throughout the entire project duration.
  • Create and maintain change orders and logs, reviewing addendums and changes for building purposes.
  • Coordinate with the General Superintendent to determine and manage project manpower requirements.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers, vendors, subcontractors, and owners to maintain effective project communication.
  • Respond to project Requests for Information (RFIs) in a timely manner and approve vendor invoices for payment.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of successful experience as an Electrical Project Manager, specifically with large-scale projects.
  • Direct project experience in heavy industrial construction and/or hyperscale data centers is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce and update project schedules and organize complex electrical estimates.
  • Strong proficiency in providing project cost projections and managing financial reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Low Voltage Systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of OSHA requirements as they pertain to electrical projects.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and professional communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform field inspections, which may include climbing ladders or stairs and walking on uneven terrain.
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands to operate a computer and telephone.
  • Must be able to work in various environmental conditions present on construction job sites.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, bending, and reaching for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds on occasion.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $145,000 to $160,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
