Headquartered centrally in New Jersey, this company combines the stability of a well‐established firm with the feel of a close‐knit team of about 50 professionals, offering opportunities to take real ownership of projects, contribute ideas that shape practical and high‐performing building systems, and grow alongside experienced leadership that emphasizes mentorship, responsiveness, and engineering excellence. The Role This role calls for a professional MEP Electrical design engineer to help lead the company's design efforts and project management on their wide array of projects which include government, education, mission critical healthcare, datacenters, commercial and residential buildings.

Responsibilities Produce complete electrical systems design drawings in accordance with the code Engineering evaluations and studies Design QC review Mentoring/training of junior engineering staff Qualifications for engineering services Proposal building for engineering services, including fee proposals Collaborate in solving a variety of complex engineering problems (e.g., conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, difficult coordination requirements) Make sure you are responding to requests and communicating information accurately and in a timely manner Requirements Accredited electrical engineering degree EIT or (PE) Professional Engineering license preferred Minimum 3-10 years experience within the MEP consulting industry Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD; SKM and/or ETAP a plus Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical design fundamentals. Ability to interpret construction documents and develop detailed electrical designs. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
