As a Senior Electrical Engineer on the Launch Vehicle Integration - Electrical Engineering team, you will own the electrical readiness of one or more launch vehicle dispenser configurations supporting Amazon Leo

You will define and/or manage electrical requirements, provide technical oversight of partner-designed hardware, and lead electrical analysis and qualification closure for flight. You will also design electrical ground support equipment used across production and launch integration, while serving as a technical role model at Amazon Leo.
Key job responsibilities
We are seeking a strong Electrical Engineer who combines deep technical judgment with the ability to lead through influence in a highly integrated, partner-driven environment. In this role, you will:
Own the electrical definition and technical readiness of one or more launch vehicle dispenser configurations supporting Amazon Leo, from requirements development through qualification and flight readiness.
Review, and maintain electrical design for flight dispenser systems developed by third-party partners, ensuring alignment with Leo system needs and launch vehicle constraints.
Validate electrical designs for both dispense and ground support equipment to ensure they perform as expected and meet the needs of Amazon Leo.
Provide technical direction on partner-designed electrical hardware, firmware interfaces, and harnessing throughout the development lifecycle.
Perform electrical analyses across flight and ground systems, including power distribution, current return paths, signal integrity and data interfaces, HRM firing circuits, voltage drop, and worst-case scenarios.
Review and approve electrical qualification data packages, and consolidate and present evidence demonstrating configuration readiness for flight.
Design auxiliary electrical checkout hardware (including PCBAs), harnessing, and test configurations as needed to enable integration, verification, and launch operations.
Review and approve electrical integration procedures, ensuring safe, repeatable, and efficient execution across production and launch environments.
Debug and troubleshoot complex electrical issues during hardware integration, test, and launch campaign activities.
Support occasional travel (up to 20% in certain phases of a campaign) to partner sites, integration facilities, and launch sites.
Act as a technical role model by setting a high engineering bar and driving best practices in requirements development, design review, verification, and configuration control.
This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in complex integrated systems, enjoys being accountable for end-to-end electrical readiness, and takes pride in enabling safe and reliable launches through rigor, judgment, and collaboration.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be a member of the Launch Vehicle Integration - Electrical Engineering team, focusing on the design and development of electrical hardware for launch configurations and electrical ground support systems

You will be expected to perform a variety of tasks such as electrical analyses, designing PCBAs, developing EGSE racks, and troubleshooting hardware issues during integration and test. You will work hands-on with electrical designs from concept through production, ensuring robust and reliable hardware solutions.
You will work with a team of top-notch engineers and collaborate with multiple other spacecraft design and integration teams. You should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity and relish the idea of solving problems that haven't been solved at scale before
