Electrical Engineer

 

Job Summary:

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of design, and planning of

projects; works as part of a team or as Lead Engineer on select projects; represents team in meetings; works as part of a team of engineers, designers and drafters.

Duties/Responsibilities:

        Electrical Engineer on projects.

        Responsible for the design and production of normal and emergency power, lighting, and fire alarm systems

        Review of narratives, drawings, and specifications for all assigned projects.

        Construction Administration duties.

Education and Experience:

        2+ years electrical design experience.

        BSEE, BSEET

Qualifications:

Possess a strong technical background, and strong knowledge of electrical systems

including lighting, fire alarm, power distribution, for various institutional, medical, laboratory, commercial, public buildings such as healthcare, biotech, higher

education, office, and large mixed-use residential buildings and hotels.

 Full knowledge and understanding of state building codes, energy codes and NFPA codes.

        Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and clients.

        E.I.T. is preferred, but not required.

        Experience with Revit is a plus

        Strong written and verbal communication skills.
