Description
SAIC is seeking a
Senior Systems Engineer in
Silverdale, WA.
Job Duties:
- Provide expert technical analysis support for the life-cycle management of submarine and undersea systems to include all phases of the life-cycle from initial capabilities determination to post-employment evaluation.
- Provide planning and coordination support interfacing with NAVSEA, Shipyard and Fleet activities for the execution and documentation of maintenance availabilities, engineering changes/alterations, supply support.
- Serve as the Training and Test Lead for the operational testing, system shakedown events, and Fleet training/workups.
- Develop, maintain and implement processes for configuration management and document control, deviation/departure tracking and management, schedule/milestone establishment and tracking, and cost estimation and control.
- Coordinate and participate in program and technical status meetings/reviews, developing inputs, documenting proceedings and tracking action items.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelors degree and nine (9) years of experience; years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- Must have at least (9) nine years of experience with submarine life-cycle management and/or in-service support.
- Must have a Top Secret clearance clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
