Job description

Job Description
We are looking for a senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our program driving the Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) cloud platform that supports collection, management and analysis of digital engineering information in an architecture that provides seamless digital thread and enables tool interoperability, including data structures suitable for AI applications. This program delivers engineering services for Linux and Windows cloud-based infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology, and containerized solutions with orchestrated workflows. This is a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience on one of the most complex and high-profile programs within the government customer community.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) in an AWS cloud-based environment
  • Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for DBs, Servers, containers, API gateways and catalogs, and applications using DevSecOps tools to include Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, SonarCube, Selenium
  • Develop integration interfaces using Python, PowerShell, and Groovy
  • Configure IdAM, Active Directory, LDAP resources
  • Deploy and maintain complex modern cloud architectures
  • Create automated testing plans for infrastructure and applications
  • Create and update technical documentation (e.g. user guides, infrastructure diagrams)
  • Work across infrastructure that contains both Linux and Windows
  • Work and communicate effectively in a group environment with technical and non-technical, management and customer both written and verbally
  • Utilize robust troubleshooting skills
  • Instill and apply solid engineering rigor, to include configuration management, testing
  • Develop/engineer as part of an Agile scrum team

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • 10+ years' relevant experience with a bachelor's degree
  • Must meet DOD 8570 requirements (Security+ CE Certification minimum)
  • Demonstrated expertise as a senior DecSecOps Engineer delivering similar scope projects
  • Familiarity with Containerized Development environments (Rancher, Kubernetes)
  • Understanding of all security related requirements in secure environments
  • Familiar with Agile Methodologies and ability to accurately decompose tasks for Jira stories
  • Expert troubleshooting and solutioning skills
  • Strong technical documentation skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • STEM Degree
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, or DynaTrace
  • Integration of virtualized applications and application streaming or layering techniques
  • Experience leading and overseeing a total system perspective including technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of cloud services, infrastructure and security domains
  • Experience with IBM Enterprise Lifecycle Management, TeamWork Cloud/Cameo experience, Microsoft Project and/or Tableau

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
