We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-based data pipelines, ETL processes, and data ingestion frameworks supporting FEMA's data analytics platforms. Key Responsibilities: * Architect and optimize complex data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
* Lead data modeling, partitioning, and performance tuning.
* Ensure FISMA/FedRAMP-compliant security and data governance.
* Support analytics, AI/ML teams, and cross-program data initiatives.
* Oversee automation, code reviews, and DevSecOps integration. Minimum Requirements: * At least 7+ years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
* Deep experience with distributed computing (Spark, EMR, Databricks).
* Advanced SQL, Python, cloud data tooling.
* Familiarity with DHS data governance and security standards. Education and Certification Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in a related field.
* AWS/Azure/GCP Data certifications.
