E-INFOSOL LLC is seeking a highly motivatedSenior Database Administratorto join our innovative, customer-focused team in Washington, DC.

Summary

TheSenior Database Administrator designs, implements, and maintains moderately complex databases. This role maintains database dictionaries, supports systems integration through database design, administers and tests databases, coordinates production database changes, and helps plan and implement database security measures. As a senior-level position, this role is also expected to operate as an individual consultant or team lead and to resolve complex data issues independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain moderately complex databases.
  • Maintain database dictionaries and support integration of systems through database design.
  • Administer and test databases, applying knowledge of database management systems (DBMS).
  • Coordinate and manage changes to production databases.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard databases.
  • Serve as an individual consultant or team lead on database matters; troubleshoot and resolve complex data conflicts.
  • Support planning and development of the organization's enterprise data model.
  • Manage data repositories and optimize data warehouse, data lake, and other storage environments.
Qualification
  • Active Top-Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 7-9 years of experience in:
    • Database administration
    • Documented and demonstrated experience troubleshooting and problem solving.
    • Documented and demonstrated experience as an individual consultant or team lead.
    • Implementing data policies, procedures, and standards.
    • Planning and development of an organization's enterprise data model.
    • Resolving data conflicts.
    • Managing data repositories.
    • Optimizing data warehouse, data lake, and other storage environments.
