Job description

Position Overview
Essnova Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Visualization & Analytics Specialist to support NGA PEO-GG in transforming complex raw datasets into intuitive, actionable analytical products.
This individual will develop and maintain interactive dashboards, analytical reports, and visual narratives that allow technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand trends, patterns, KPIs, and mission-relevant insights.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, clean, structure, and prepare disparate datasets for analysis.
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity throughout analytical development.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Use Tableau, Power BI, and/or comparable BI platforms.
  • Query, join, and structure complex datasets using SQL.
  • Create visual narratives including charts, graphs, maps, and infographics.
  • Translate complex technical information for non-technical audiences.
  • Analyze statistical information for significant trends, patterns, and correlations.
  • Generate actionable insights supporting organizational decision-making.
  • Work directly with NGA PEO-GG leaders and technical teams to gather requirements.
  • Define relevant KPIs with stakeholders.
  • Present data-driven recommendations.
  • Ensure analytics products align with PEO-GG strategic objectives.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Demonstrated experience creating insightful and visually compelling dashboards and analytical reports.
  • Demonstrated expert proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or another leading business intelligence/visualization platform.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SQL for querying, joining, and structuring complex datasets.
  • Experience cleaning and transforming raw data for analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data for significant trends, patterns, and correlations and translate findings into actionable business insights.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder communication skills, including gathering requirements, defining KPIs, and presenting data-driven recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Current Top Secret clearance and eligibility for favorable NGA adjudication for SCI access.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master's degree from an accredited university.
  • Specialized experience with NGA and/or another IC agency's missions and communications policies.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence principles and their utilization in Data Visualization and Analytics.
  • Knowledge of PEO-GG systems.

Location: NGA Washington / Fort Belvoir, VA area
Work Arrangement: Primarily onsite; minimally available Government-approved telework.
Travel: Infrequent CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required.
