Job Summary:
Nalley Consulting is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business working with prime partners to staff Department of Defense and Intelligence Community positions. They are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their team at DIA Headquarters, responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets and providing insights to support decision-making.
Responsibilities:
• Join the Nalley Consulting team as a Data Scientist at DIA Headquarters.
• Required clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with active CI poly conducted within the past seven years.
• 3+ years of experience with major data science languages, such as Python and R.
• 3+ years of experience retrieving, merging, and analyzing structured and unstructured data sources from APIs and databases through Python, R, and/or SQL.
• Experience with database design and administration in DBMS such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Experience with data analytics, data mining, statistical analysis, or AI/ML.
• Experience with data visualization software, such as Tableau and PowerBI.
• Experience conducting data architecture and ETL for the DoD or a federal agency.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Active TS/SCI clearance with active CI poly conducted within the past seven years
• Bachelor’s degree + 8 YOE or 12 YOE years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• 3+ years of experience with major data science languages, such as Python and R
• 3+ years of experience retrieving, merging, and analyzing structured and unstructured data sources from APIs and databases through Python, R, and/or SQL
• Experience with database design and administration in DBMS such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Experience with data analytics, data mining, statistical analysis, or AI/ML
Preferred:
• Experience with data visualization software, such as Tableau and PowerBI
• Experience conducting data architecture and ETL for the DoD or a federal agency
• Familiarity with HUMINT
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies, including git, Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.
