Profile

The senior data scientist is responsible for designing, deploying, securing and managing the Power BI environment in a reliable and cost-efficient manner.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing the Power BI environment (Fabric), with tenant and admin configuration
  • Establish and maintain DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, environments (dev/test/prod), monitoring and alerting.
  • Implementing security and access controls in accordance with the ICT policy.
  • Automate platform operations to reduce manual work and risk.
  • Ensuring that the platform is production-ready and operationally robust.
  • Guaranteeing security, access control and compliance (IAM, networks, secrets, GDPR-by-design).
  • Monitoring performance, reliability and costs of the data platform.
  • Support DevOps, DataOps, and MLOps practices across analytics and AI workloads.
Experience
  • Several years of experience in rolling out and keeping Power BI (Fabric) environment operational.
  • Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and automating platform operations.
  • Works smoothly within enterprise ICT standards and compliance frameworks (GDPR, IAM, security policies).
Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Fabric.
  • Fluent with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Bicep, ARM) and CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  • Setting up monitoring, alerting, logging and cost management at platform level.
  • Knowledge of IAM, secrets management, private endpoints and network segmentation.
