The selected candidate will work with leadership and the architect team to design a virtualization strategy to meet mission requirements. They will provide technical expertise supporting information systems components, infrastructure integration and maintenance to meet architectural and business requirements.Responsibilities:Conduct administration tasks as required including patching, updates, hardening, remediation, and management of virtualization environmentResponsible for building and maintaining VDI deploymentsResponsible for end-to-end configuration and support of the VDI platformAbility to work closely with application owners and support staff to deliver high availability of business-critical applicationsIn-depth knowledge of Horizon VDI solutionsExperience in building and administrating VMware vSphere in a large-scale environmentExcellent problem solving, troubleshooting, analytical and communication skillsCustomer service-oriented mindsetMentor and provide guidance to junior systems administratorsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fieldTen (10) years of prior experience in a similar roleDoD 8570 Level II/III certification desiredActive Security Clearance RequiredIPTA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
