SENIOR Data Center Engineer (Chinese Speaking)Location

Overview

Recruiting for Good is seeking a Senior Data Center Engineer who is fluent in Chinese to support the design, operation, and optimization of critical infrastructure across data center and enterprise environments. This role will focus on maintaining reliable network and systems operations, with particular emphasis on Cisco switching, Fortigate firewalls, and Cisco/Aruba wireless technologies.

This is an opportunity for an experienced engineer to lead infrastructure improvements, support complex technical operations, and serve as a key point of communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders, vendors, and partners.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, maintain, and optimize data center and network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance

  • Configure, support, and troubleshoot Cisco switches in production environments

  • Administer and maintain Fortigate firewall infrastructure, including security policies, access controls, and connectivity issues

  • Support, monitor, and optimize Cisco and Aruba wireless networks across office and infrastructure environments

  • Perform infrastructure upgrades, hardware deployments, migrations, and decommissioning activities

  • Troubleshoot network, hardware, and connectivity issues across switching, firewall, and wireless environments

  • Work closely with internal IT, infrastructure, facilities, and security teams to maintain stable operations

  • Communicate in Chinese and English with vendors, partners, and technical stakeholders to support project execution and issue resolution

  • Create and maintain accurate documentation for network topology, firewall rules, device inventory, configurations, and support procedures

  • Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and capacity, and recommend improvements to reliability and scalability

  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive action planning

  • Ensure infrastructure aligns with operational, security, and compliance standards

Requirements
  • Senior-level experience in data center engineering, network engineering, or infrastructure operations

  • Professional fluency in Chinese and English, with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts in both languages

  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco switches

  • Strong experience managing and troubleshooting Fortigate firewalls

  • Experience supporting Cisco and/or Aruba wireless environments

  • Solid understanding of network design, routing, switching, VLANs, access control, and firewall policy management

  • Experience supporting production infrastructure in enterprise or data center environments

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and network issues efficiently

  • Experience with monitoring tools, network documentation, and change management practices

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors

Nice to Have
  • Experience with multi-site or hybrid infrastructure environments

  • Familiarity with server, storage, and broader data center operations

  • Experience with network security best practices and segmentation strategies

  • Scripting or automation experience for network administration and infrastructure tasks

  • Experience with infrastructure modernization, migration, or expansion projects
