Job Description:
The Data Analyst is responsible for supporting enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives by transforming business requirements into data-driven solutions. The analyst performs data analysis, validation, testing, and requirements gathering activities.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate reporting and analytical requirements
Translate business needs into technical data requirements and support solution design activities
Analyze and profile data to identify quality issues, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement
Develop and execute data validation and testing procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting solutions cumm
Perform data mapping, lineage analysis, and relationship modeling across multiple data sources
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities, including issue tracking, investigation, and resolution coordination
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field
Experience working with relational databases and data warehousing concepts
Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting
Experience with Amazon Redshift or similar cloud-based data platforms
Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence and visualization tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
