Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineer, Power Cylinder Product Validation & Verification (PV&V)forJD Power Systems at Product Engineering Center located in Waterloo , IA, you will:

  • Lead PV&V plan definition to verify power cylinder designs against product requirements across the product lifecycle, including Technology Development, Architecture Development, Product Delivery, Application Product Delivery , and Continuous Improvement
  • Develop and manage power cylinder test procedures and methodology, including definition of new test procedures to close gaps and improve efficiency
  • Support PV&V Mechanical Development in executing test plans, including post test inspection and data analysis
  • Assess requirements verification status and elevate risks

What Skills You Need
  • 5 or more years of experience in PV&V, design, or development
  • Ability to travel up to 25% based on business needs
What Makes You Stand Out
  • Prior experience in engine and power cylinder PV&V, design, development, or problem resolution
  • Knowledge of PV&V tools and techniques, including the VISION system
  • Experience interpreting and analyzing data
  • Systems engineering training and experience
Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent related work experience
