Essential Responsibilities

The Sr. Credit Analyst will:

  • ย Prepare the detailed Credit Memorandum within First Federalโ€™s commercial underwriting standards.
  • ย Spread financial data and prepare financial analysis for assigned commercial credit requests.
  • ย Form preliminary questions to drive underwriting and loan eligibility.
  • Identify and assess potential risks associated with the credit, including financial, operational, and industry-specific risks.ย 
  • Partner with Commercial Loan Officers (CLO) throughout the underwriting process.
  • ย Perform credit risk analysis as requested by a CLO, including annual reviews, monitoring loan covenants, and assisting with asset classification.The Senior Credit Analyst will escalate concerns to CLO, supervisor, or Chief Credit Officer (CCO).ย 
  • ย Make recommendations regarding loan approval, denial, or modification based on the credit analysis.
  • ย Complete other duties as assigned.

  • A bachelorโ€™s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent, and

    Preferred Qualifications

    • ย Five (5) yearsโ€™ experience working as a commercial credit analyst within a banking environment, and/or
    • ย A masterโ€™s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.
    • ย Professional Certification: CPA or CFA.
