Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Corporate Controller to lead day-to-day finance operations, build scalable accounting processes, and support executive leadership in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. This role will oversee the finance operating engine, ensuring strong accounting discipline, operational efficiency, financial visibility, and scalable infrastructure to support continued growth and acquisitions.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with FP&A capabilities, operational leadership, process improvement, and modern finance technology adoption.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Leadership & Internal Controls
  • Lead and develop the accounting team through effective delegation, accountability, and performance management.

  • Own and manage a structured, timely, and accurate month-end close process.

  • Ensure balance sheet integrity through complete, reviewed, and substantiated reconciliations.

  • Review and validate financial statements before executive-level finalization.

  • Partner with executive leadership on accounting policy, technical accounting research, audit readiness, and judgment-based accounting matters.

  • Maintain and continuously improve internal controls appropriate for a private-equity-backed business environment.

Liquidity & Working Capital Management
  • Oversee day-to-day cash management and short-term liquidity forecasting.

  • Drive visibility into working capital performance across AR, AP, and inventory.

  • Partner cross-functionally with sourcing and operations teams to improve cash conversion cycles.

  • Prepare borrowing base reports and lender-related financial deliverables.

FP&A & Performance Reporting
  • Lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.

  • Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide meaningful business insights behind financial results.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; MBA strongly preferred.

  • Experience within private-equity-backed, multi-site, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial services environments strongly preferred.

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge including:
