Job description

OneSparQ is looking for a senior control engineer for a automation services company located in Alpharetta, GA.


Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial automation/control system engineer role
  • Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems (PLCs, HMI Applications, etc.)
  • Understands documentation for control systems (Control Narrative, Cause & Effect, Station Protection Matrix, Data Maps)
  • Experience with Rockwell ControlLogix (CLX) and Rockwell FactoryTalk View (FTV) HMI solutions
  • Process instrumentation and process equipment knowledge
  • Understands industrial protocols - Modbus and/or Ethernet/IP
  • Previous experience in oil/gas industry


Additional Skills: (not required)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering


Responisbiltiies:

  • Leads team of engineers through multiple projects and ensures completion within timeline and budget
  • Performs and reviews tests on solution functions to make sure they meet requirements
