Summary

Performs inspections of public works construction project work-in-progress. Conducts inspections at various intervals in the construction process to verify that methods, materials, and completed projects comply with City specifications.

The Construction Inspector is the first of two skill levels leading to specialization within Engineering Technician, Construction Coordinator and Engineering career paths.
