Job description

Senior Electronics Repair Technician.

BSI Components and Repair is seeking to hire a Senior Electronics Repair Technician with 5+ years of experience - no travel.

What skills we are looking for:
  • The major function is the analysis, component replacement, and repair of large industrial PCBs.
  • Electronic part-level inspection, analysis, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and replacement.
  • Create detailed build procedures.
  • Disciplined to think through problems and ability to come up with innovative solutions.
  • Perform documentation creation/updates as needed to improve proficiency and efficiency.
  • Apply troubleshooting skills and confidence in making suggestions for process improvements.
  • Interpret electronic schematics and PCB layouts.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as an electronics repair technician.
  • In-depth knowledge of low-power electronics and circuitry and PCB repair.
  • Proficient soldering under a microscope with good manual dexterity (solder components as small as 0201).
  • Proficient in using oscilloscopes and other testing/diagnosis equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must be an articulate communicator (verbally and written), and self-motivated.
  • Strong computer skills (e.g. Gmail, Microsoft Office).
