This position is based at the corporate office in Oklahoma City.

BASIC PURPOSE

The Sr Manager of HR position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management across all Love’s Family of Companies. The position is business-facing and serves as a strategic partner to leadership on human resource-related issues.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Acts as an HRBP and provides leadership and guidance to corporate HRBPs on human resource-related issues.
  • Proactively lead, influence, and communicate the business strategy across the business units and within the corporate support teams.
  • Acts as an employee champion, a change agent and anticipates business and HR-related needs.
  • Champions and executes COE programs across the organization.
  • Handles complex escalated employee relations matters to include, counseling, coaching, and documentation, terminations.
  • Interprets and explains human resources policies, procedures, labor laws, standards, and regulations.
  • Serves as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and helping resolve highly sensitive or escalated work-related problems.
  • Advises employees and managers on organizational policy and procedural matters such as equal employment opportunity, work complaints, harassment allegations and other employee concerns.
  • Guides employment claims such as unemployment and EEOC and all related investigations.
  • Actively participate on a variety of HR or HRIS projects.
  • Collaborates with HR COE’s to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Advises senior leadership on progressive disciplinary process.
  • Conduct and review exit interviews, analyze data, trends, define and deliver solutions.
  • Monitors and evaluates headcount, turnover and other relevant HR metrics.
  • Responsible for the creation and execution of departmental budgets.
  • Supervising a broad scope of HR personnel and skillsets.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Education:
    • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or HR related field preferred.
    • Preferred certification, SHRM, HRCI, PHR, or SPHR.
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of progressive HR experience.
    • 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Requirements:
    • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Travel:
    • Traveling for this position will be infrequent but may occur as needed.

  • Skills:
    • Hard Skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office, including word processing, spreadsheet and database applications, HR specific software.
