Job Overview
Shift differentials of $1.00 evenings and $1.50 nights
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides for and assists in meeting the TCU (transitional care unit) adult patients' physical, emotional and psycho-social needs while adhering to facility, state and federal guidelines for Mayo health services skilled nursing facility - Lake City Care Center in Lake City, MN.
Nursing schedule includes;
  • 64 hours every two weeks
  • Evening shift; 8 hour shift
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation
  • Full Benefits package including RN student loan reimbursment program

Lake City Care Center is nestled near the picturesque Lake Pepin in southeast Minnesota. As part of the esteemed Mayo Clinic Health System and managed by Ebenezer, Minnesota's leading senior living operator with a century-long commitment to exceptional service. Our skilled nursing facility can provide care for up to 90 residents across our Transitional Care and Long-term care units, supported by a dedicated team committed to Ebenezer's mission of fostering longer, healthier, and more meaningful lives through healing, discovery, and education. Lake City Care Center Careers (ebenezercares.org)
  • Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual plan of care
  • Administers medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
  • Provides data relevant to the development of the plan of care
  • RN - Assesses plan of care, resident goals and revises, modify plan of care as necessary
  • Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided

Required:
  • Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree - Registered Nurse
  • Current MN RN license
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
    • BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice
  • 0-1 years of experience

Preferred:
  • 0-3 years of experience
  • TCU LPN/RN experience
  • Basic computer skillsPoint Click Care knowledge
