Afin de soutenir sa forte croissance au Quebec, notre equipe d'expertise Ponts et Tunnels est a la recherche d'un(e) Ingenieur(e) en structure -Conception Ponts et Ouvrages d'art pour se joindre a notre bureau de Montreal ou Quebec.

Responsabilites:

• Agir a titre de concepteur en structures dans des projets diversifies de conception et de refection de ponts et tunnels.

• Participer a la preparation des livrables (etudes d'opportunite et d'avant-projets, evaluations de capacite portante, evaluations sismiques, analyses structurales, plans, devis, estimations et echeancier des travaux, etc.).

• Assurer une conception coordonnee en travaillant en etroite collaboration avec d'autres ingenieurs et techniciens.

• Assurer la conformite des livrables en s'appuyant sur les manuels techniques, les politiques internes de l'entreprise, ainsi que les normes et codes applicables.

• Executer d'autres activites d'ingenierie associees a ce poste, au besoin.

Quelques projets phares:

• Maintien des actifs et inspection du Pont de Quebec;

• Conception de l'echangeur Turcot, dont le pont haubane du canal de Lachine;

• Evaluations sismiques des ponts Jacques-Cartier, Clement, Honore-Mercier, Alexandra (Ottawa) et Prince-of-Wales (Ottawa);

• Refection majeure du pont-tunnel Louis-H.-La Fontaine etdestunnelsVille-MarieetViger;

• Construction du pont international Gordie-Howe (Ontario), a titre d'ingenieur du proprietaire;

• Deconstruction du pont Champlain.

• Plusieurs autres projets en mode alternatif a venir en 2025 au Quebec et au Canada ou Parsons a agi a titre de concepteur en chef, d'ingenieur du proprietaire ou de certificateur independant.

Profil recherche:

• Baccalaureat en genie civil avec specialisation en structures

• Maitrise en structure privilegiee

• Minimum de 5 a 10 annees d'experience professionnelle en conception de ponts et tunnels

• Membre de l'Ordre des Ingenieurs du Quebec (OIQ) ou eligible a devenir membre de l'OIQ

• Connaissance des normes de ponts (CAN/CSA-S6) et des logiciels d'analyse structurale (SAP, CSiBridge, ADA, etc.) est un atout

• Les certifications du MTMD (conception, inspection, entretien, construction et reparation des structures, etc.) sont un atout

• La connaissance du francais est requise pour tout poste permanent au Quebec afin de permettre au titulaire de communiquer avec ses collegues et partenaires au Quebec. La maitrise de l'anglais est egalement requise pour communiquer avec les collegues, clients, partenaires ou fournisseurs a l'exterieur du Quebec.

Structural Designer - Bridges and Tunnels, Quebec

• Inspection of Quebec Bridge, Quebec

• Design of Turcot Interchange, including the cable-stayed bridge over the Lachine Canal

• Seismic assessments of the Jacques-Cartier, Clement, Honore-Mercier, Alexandra (Ottawa) and Prince-of-Wales (Ottawa) bridges

• Major rehabilitation of the Louis-H.-La Fontaine bridge-tunnel and the Ville-Marie and Viger tunnels;

• Construction of the Gordie-Howe International Bridge (Ontario), as owner's engineer;

Currently, the Bridge and Tunnel Team is looking for an Structural Designer - Bridges and Tunnels to join our Quebec or Montreal office.

Ideally, you have :

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering with specialization in structures

• Masters in structural engineering strongly preferred

• Minimum of 5 - 10 years of professional experience in bridge and tunnel design

• Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec or eligible to OIQ membership.

• Advanced knowledge of bridge standards (including CAN/CSA-S6) and structural analysis software (SAP, CSiBridge, ADA, etc.)

• MTMD certifications (design, inspection, maintenance, construction and repair of structures, etc.) are an asset

With us, you will be able to:

• Act as structural designer for bridge and tunnel design and repair projects.

• Participate in the preparation of deliverables (feasibility and preliminary-design studies, bearing capacity assessments, seismic assessments, structural analyzes, plans, specifications, estimates and work schedules, etc.).

• Work closely with fellow engineers and technicians to provide coordinated designs.

• Ensure that deliverables are in conformance to technical guides, company's standards as well as applicable codes.

• Perform other engineering activities associated with this position, as needed.

Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues and partners in Quebec as necessary. French-language training is offered to all incumbents in permanent positions in Quebec who do not have a good knowledge of French.

Other language requirement

Fluent English is required for this position in order to communicate with colleagues, clients and partners (or suppliers) located outside Quebec and to understand the technical and scientific documentation used in our industry.
