Center-based ABA Behavior Technician (BT) Trainer

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Lead / Senior ABA Therapist

The Role

This is a center-based BT/RBT Trainer role serving children with an average age range of 2-7 years, focused on early intervention, social development, and school readiness.

You'll work in a collaborative clinical environment that primarily focuses on:

  • Center-based ABA

  • Early learners (ages 2 - 7)

  • Natural environment and play-based learning

  • Strong clinical, administrative, and leadership support

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide training and guidance to new Behavior Technicians

  • Provide center-based 1:1 ABA services

  • Maintain accurate documentation, data collection, and reporting

  • Assess clinical competency and address training gaps across the BT team

  • Facilitate comprehensive onboarding via in-person and virtual training sessions

  • Provide real-time corrective feedback and coaching

  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development

  • Ensure compliance with BACB and company standards

Qualifications

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification

  • BCBA Candidate (preferred)

  • Experience working with children

  • Experience working with autism and other developmental disabilities

  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit and stand on the floor throughout the day, as well as bend, kneel, or squat to remain at eye level with clients.

  • Capable of prolonged periods of standing and sitting throughout the day

  • Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at a time

  • Capable of managing unpredictable and frequent aggressive and/or physically demanding behaviors and executing emergency intervention protocols in accordance with clinical training
