As a key player on our Campus team, you’ll help create moments that matter. Whether you’re serving up smiles in the dining hall or keeping things running behind the scenes, you’ll be part of a mission to make students feel at home.

The Cashier & Catering Services Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a university food service environment. This role processes customer transactions accurately, handles cash and electronic payments, assists with food and beverage service, and supports the setup, delivery, and cleanup of catering events across campus. The incumbent ensures food safety standards are maintained, assists with inventory and restocking, and contributes to a welcoming experience for students, faculty, staff, and guests.

As the Cashier and Catering services you will:

  • Process cash, debit, credit, and meal plan transactions accurately.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service.
  • Prepare, set up, and replenish food and beverage stations.
  • Assist with catering event setup, service, and cleanup.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas.
  • Restock supplies and report inventory needs.
Qualifications

What You Bring 

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience 

  • A team-first attitude and strong communication skills 

  • Physical ability to meet job demands (e.g., lifting, standing for long periods)
