What You'll Do:
  • Assist in adult cardiac surgeries, including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, and ascending aortic surgeries
  • Support procedures such as maze, redo sternotomies, and mechanical circulatory support (Impella, ECMO)
  • Assist with endoscopic vein harvesting and chest tube/temporary pacing wire placement
  • Collaborate closely with a team of cardiac surgeons and intensivists
  • Provide patient care during high-acuity procedures in a busy operative setting
  • Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
What You Need:
  • Board Certification in Advanced Practice Nursing or Nurse Practitioner (cardiac specialty preferred)
  • Valid Missouri license
  • BLS certification; RNFA preferred
  • At least 2 years of independent adult cardiac OR first assist experience
  • Strong skills in adult cardiac procedures, critical thinking, and teamwork
