We are looking for a Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team specializing in the development of data products and visualizations in the context of network planning, scheduling and carrier services. As a Sr.Business Intelligence Engineer on this team, you will get the exciting opportunity to work with senior leadership to understand business requirements and deliver solutions and actionable insight. Our team is serious about sustainable transportation design and establishing scalable forecasting and other insights. A successful candidate will build pipelines and AI powered automation solutions, manipulate large data sets into consumable formats and structure, develop new and and innovative ways of interacting with and interpreting key performance indicators.

1) Define and manage a long-term vision to improve business forecasting results through creating scalable metrics, pipelines and structures.
2) Communicate with analytics peers and stakeholders to balance the tactical and strategic information needs of the business.
3) Collaborate with transportation and tech teams to understand, anticipate, and respond to current and future needs
4) Lead the definition and governance of key business metrics, drive the vision and building of self-service analytic capabilities, and engineer data-driven processes that drive business value
5) Connect with the Amazon community of AI builder professionals to stay current on technology trends, data tools and techniques to improve the performance of the team
6) Create and foster an environment that values and promotes an inclusive approach to problem solving and continuous learning to improve
7) Build bar raising dashboards that trigger proactive actions, enable our stakeholders to uncover insights, trends and opportunities to innovate on behalf of our customers
8) Leverage querying and modeling languages, statistical models to fuel these data products

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- 1+ years of processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources experience
- 1+ years of performing statistical analysis experience
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
