ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and maintain end-users security at the application level and in the OS as required.
Maintains all property-wide user-based computer applications, upgrades, security. This includes, but is not limited to, gaming, hotel, point of sale, etc. Contacts vendor for help and more advanced upgrades.
Follows SOPs and updates SOP appropriately.
Provides end user desktop support and helps keep casino employees productive.
Employees in this position will have a strong understanding of SQL, SQL queries and scripting.
This position requires in depth backend knowledge all casino applications.
Captures, deploys standardized workstation configurations and maintains PC s to current configuration levels.
The Senior Information Technology Technician possesses a basic understanding of System Administration responsibilities and can act as a backup to the Sys Admin position when required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintains supported systems as required, including running backups, editing system data, running reports, etc.
  • Captures and deploys standardized workstation configurations and maintains PC s to current configuration levels
  • Creates and maintains end-user accounts and permissions as required, providing desktop support
  • Educates users to reduce recurring issues by offering solutions to problems in a proactive manner
  • Trains IT Technicians on various systems or processes as needed
  • Ensures confidentiality of property data and security while maintaining compliance with regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries, complaints, or service requests in a timely and efficient manner

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must obtain valid gaming license, where applicable
