ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a Senior AI Engineer specializing in Agentic AI to join their Enterprise Data & AI organization in Miami, FL. This highly technical, individual contributor role is focused on designing, building, and scaling production-grade AI-powered applications and autonomous agent systems using modern orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph and LangChain. You will partner closely with the AI Engineering Manager and leadership to architect and implement enterprise AI solutions that solve complex business problems across the organization. • Develop reusable AI services and components that can be leveraged across multiple business domains
  • Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services supporting AI applications
  • Integrate AI solutions with internal enterprise platforms, APIs, and databases
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable Python code following software engineering best practices
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize AI workflows for latency, reliability, and cost

WHAT YOU BRING
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Expert-level Python development experience
  • Experience building production backend services and APIs
  • Experience developing applications utilizing Large Language Models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with LangChain and/or LangGraph
  • Experience implementing AI agents with tool calling, workflow orchestration, and memory
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and object-oriented design
  • Experience integrating enterprise APIs and external services
  • Experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with technical stakeholders
  • Preferred: Experience deploying AI applications into production
  • Preferred: Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Preferred: Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, pgvector, ChromaDB, etc.)
  • Preferred: Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Preferred: Experience building multi-agent systems
  • Preferred: Experience evaluating and monitoring LLM applications
  • Preferred: Experience with Azure OpenAI or cloud AI platforms
  • Preferred: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
