The Senior Producer is a pivotal leader in the West production team, responsible for overseeing the development and execution of high-quality, innovative content that aligns with the brand's vision and resonates with the target audience. This role involves managing a team of Producers, fostering creative collaboration, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects from concept to final distribution.

The Senior Producer will, often times, sit on the project leadership table guiding all content creative, planning and execution needs, including working with production management team/line producer on scheduling, budget management and delivery.  The Senior Producer will focus on mid-form, support for long form, support for live, flanking, promotional and 3rd party content.  In addition, the Sr. Producer will support social media and short form production as-needed and defined by the Director of Production.

This role involves managing all aspects of production, from concept development to final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Job Description

CONTENT DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION

Oversee a team of Producers who you will collaborate regularly to develop and refine content ideas, ensuring they meet brand standards and audience expectations.

Oversee the production process for multiple projects, from pre-production through post-production, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

Manage relationships with external production partners, talent, and agencies, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.

Executes productions from concept phase to final delivery, aligned with the defined holistic content strategy for that market

Collaborates regularly with international Red Bull producers, ensuring full transparency regarding project status and timelines

Identifies and develops new story angles for existing projects, genres and recurring content opportunities (Athlete Projects, Opinion Leaders, Events, Team Presentations, On Premise, Consumption Occasions etc.)

Ensure that all productions are executed in line with the Red Bull Media House Production Management guidelines and requirements (i.e. proper rights clearance, delivery standards, metadata, production schedules, budgets, etc.)

Manage day-to-day production activities, including scheduling, location scouting, talent coordination, and equipment management.

Oversee post-production processes, including editing, sound mixing, and visual effects, ensuring the final product meets quality standards.

Translate creative concepts into compelling visual narratives that engage and inspire the audience.

Anticipate and address production challenges, proactively finding solutions to keep projects on track.

Manage relationships with external production partners, talent, and agencies, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.

TEAM MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT

Collaborate with production management to allocate resources effectively, ensuring projects are adequately staffed and equipped.

Identifies and develops new story angles for existing projects, genres and recurring content opportunities (Athlete Projects, Opinion Leaders, Events, Team Presentations, On Premise, Consumption Occasions etc.)

Collaborate with the Santa Monica Portfolio team on developing content for the overall content pipeline.

Responsible for sourcing and developing a strong network of experienced production partners, vendors and talent to work with.

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION 

Collaborate with the Director of Production on content lead initiatives in the West Region.

Manage storyline feasibility and explore new angles for content development both in the Business Planning Process and Project Lifecycle.

Accountable for delivery of content to Media Operations & Programming.

Managing a slate of programming from development through to delivery made up of in-house, commissioned, live and non-live programming.

Provide regular updates on project status and progress to senior management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Film, Television, Communications, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in content production, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering high-quality content projects.

Strong understanding of the media landscape in the Western US.

Experience managing and developing a team of creative professionals.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is $85,600- $128,400 + cash incentives.

Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
