Description

EOA Technologies is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development, execution, and sustainment of enterprise cloud solutions in Azure and Microsoft 365. This role is responsible for cloud architecture design, large-scale migrations, and governance enforcement.
  • Architect and deploy enterprise-grade Azure environments, including hybrid and multi-region designs.
  • Lead Microsoft 365 service integrations with identity management (AAD, SSO, Conditional Access) and security solutions (DLP, Defender).
  • Plan and execute large-scale migrations from on-premises systems to Azure and M365 (e.g., Active Directory, email, file shares).
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using ARM, Bicep, Terraform, or PowerShell DSC.
  • Establish and manage cloud governance, cost optimization, tagging, and resource policy enforcement.
  • Provide tier-3 escalation support for Azure/M365 issues across compute, networking, identity, and productivity services.
  • Mentor junior and intermediate engineers and contribute to training and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current on Azure and M365 roadmap changes and implement improvements aligned with best practices.

Requirements

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

  • Possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
  • Certifications required: Two (2) Cloud Certifications beyond fundamentals in representative cloud where work is performed (Azure or AWS)
  • Educational requirements: Bachelors Degree
  • Years of experience required: 7 - 12 years
