Resicum International LLC is seeking an experienced AH-64E Instructor Pilot / Tactical Operations (IP/TACOPS) Advisor to support the Indian Army AH-64E Apache Training Assistance Field Team (TAFT) under the Security Assistance Training Management Organization (SATMO) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. This is a full-time overseas position in India and is contingent upon contract award.

This is a non-flying advisory position designed for an experienced former U.S. Army AH-64E Instructor Pilot with extensive tactical operations expertise.

The AH-64E Instructor Pilot / Tactical Operations Advisor serves as the senior aviation training and tactical employment advisor to the Indian Army. Working alongside instructor pilots, commanders, and aircrews, the advisor provides classroom instruction, mentorship, and subject matter expertise in AH-64E flight operations, tactical employment, mission planning, crew coordination, aviation leadership, and U.S. Army tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

The successful candidate will assist in developing instructor pilot proficiency, enhancing mission planning and execution capabilities, and improving operational readiness through academic instruction, simulator support, mission rehearsal exercises, and professional mentorship. The advisor will also support the development of lesson plans, training programs, and instructional materials while promoting adherence to U.S. Army aviation doctrine, technical publications, and flight safety standards.

This position requires a highly experienced former U.S. Army AH-64E Instructor Pilot with exceptional leadership, communication, and instructional abilities. The advisor will play a critical role in strengthening the Indian Army's AH-64E Apache capability while advancing U.S. security cooperation objectives through technical expertise, mentorship, and aviation leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the senior AH-64E Instructor Pilot and Tactical Operations advisor to Indian Army aviation personnel. 
  • Mentor and develop Instructor Pilots, aviation leaders, and aircrews in AH-64E operations and tactical employment. 
  • Provide classroom instruction and practical training on aircraft systems, mission planning, and tactical operations. 
  • Advise on mission planning, mission execution, mission command, and post-mission debrief procedures. 
  • Instruct aircrews on Crew Resource Management (CRM), operational risk management, and aviation leadership principles. 
  • Provide guidance on weapons employment, reconnaissance operations, air assault support, and combined arms integration. 
  • Support simulator training, mission rehearsal exercises, and aircrew standardization programs. 
  • Assist in developing lesson plans, training materials, and instructional programs. 
  • Advise leadership on aviation training management, operational readiness, and best practices. 
  • Promote compliance with U.S. Army aviation doctrine, technical publications, and safety standards while supporting the objectives of the SATMO Foreign Military Sales mission.

Requirements:
  • This position is contingent upon contract award. 
  • Former U.S. Army AH-64E Instructor Pilot (IP)
  • Qualified in the AH-64E Version 4 aircraft (Version 6 experience preferred). 
  • Minimum 1,500 hours of total rotary-wing flight time. 
  • Minimum 300 hours as an AH-64E Instructor Pilot
  • Thorough knowledge of AH-64E flight operations, tactical employment, mission planning, and U.S. Army aviation doctrine. 
  • Demonstrated experience conducting academic, simulator, and practical flight instruction. 
  • Strong understanding of U.S. Army aviation tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), Crew Resource Management (CRM), operational risk management, and aircrew standardization. 
  • Experience advising and mentoring aviators in mission planning, mission execution, and tactical operations. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently as a trusted advisor in a multinational and cross-cultural environment. 
  • Graduate of the U.S. Army Aviation Instructor Pilot Course preferred. 
  • Aviation Mission Survivability Officer (AMSO), Tactical Operations Officer (TACOPS), or equivalent tactical planning experience preferred. 
  • Previous experience supporting Security Assistance Training Management Organization (SATMO), Training Assistance Field Team (TAFT), or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs preferred. 
  • Experience supporting allied, multinational, or coalition aviation operations preferred. 
  • Previous company-grade or field-grade leadership experience within an AH-64E aviation unit preferred. 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all required security clearances. 
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid U.S. passport and all required visas for overseas employment. 
  • Must be medically, physically, and mentally capable of meeting overseas deployment requirements. 
  • Must successfully complete all company, customer, and U.S. Government pre-employment and deployment requirements. 
  • Must be willing to live and work in India for the duration of the assignment.
