Sr. Application Developer

Information Technology, F&O Department

Canada

Shape the data architecture behind one of the world's fastest-growing healthcare companies - and see your solutions drive real impact every day.

Your new role

As a Sr. Application Developer, you will play a central role in developing and deploying the data warehouse, BI and analytics solutions that power how our business operates, reports and makes decisions. You will work at the intersection of technology and business need - building robust data pipelines, shaping modern reporting capabilities and driving the modernisation of our data architecture.

Day-to-day, your responsibilities will include:

  • Adapting and enhancing the existing data warehouse and ETL processes to support evolving analytical requirements, with outputs visualised primarily through Power BI
  • Leveraging the full functionality of T-SQL - including tables, views, stored procedures, user-defined functions, cursors, dynamic SQL and partitioned tables - to deliver high-quality data solutions
  • Contributing to the modernisation of our data infrastructure, working with technologies such as Snowflake, Informatica MDM and MuleSoft
  • Ensuring timely and reliable data availability for business stakeholders through the execution of operational data loads and reporting technologies
  • Investigating and resolving assigned incidents while maintaining a documented history of changes to data systems
  • Collaborating across multiple stakeholders to design solution strategies and roadmaps that align with current and future business needs
  • Complying with master data standards and adhering to international and North American best practices in tools, data governance and architecture patterns

Your new department

You will join a collaborative team of IT professionals who take pride in building scalable, compliant and future-ready solutions - and your work will directly enable the business to act on insight and deliver for patients.

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for someone who combines deep technical expertise in data warehousing and BI with the ability to collaborate across business functions and drive practical outcomes. You will bring with you:

  • A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems
  • 7+ years of direct experience managing a data warehouse and reporting platforms in an enterprise environment, including a deep understanding of data quality, stewardship and general data management
  • Proven experience overseeing the direction, development and implementation of application software solutions in a corporate setting
  • Experience collaborating across multiple stakeholders to design application solution strategies and roadmaps for future system capabilities
  • Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems and familiarity with network and PC operating systems (Windows/iOS)
  • Project management exposure, with an ability to understand project charters, Gantt charts and project budgets - Agile certification is considered a plus
