ARS is seeking a Senior Application Software Developer to support Hanscom, AFB.

 Responsibilities Include: 

  • Integrate BMC products to each other and third-party applications.
  • Able to Customize Application beyond the “Out of the Box” Configurations
  • Deliver technical presentations as required to support technical tasks and communicate the solution (i.e., WebEx, conference calls, etc.)
  • Participates in requirements able to document and implement technical, configuration or customizations to meet requirements
  • Have a detailed understanding of Remedy foundation data for proper implementation and day to day operations
  • Implement best business practices for IT operations, Business Service Management and foundational level of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
  • Defines, writes, and delivers specifications, user guides, and architecture and methodology as appropriate to meet project deadlines.
  • Programs, tests, documents, and implements systems and/or software and validates efficacy prior to release to production environment
  • Analyzes routine to moderately complex work and customer problems, issues, and circumstances and provides recommendations, alternatives, and risk assessments
  • Have knowledge of AF RMF and be able to provide artifacts, system remediation to support AF Authority to Operate
  • Articulate Best business practices and streamline system application and architecture as Enterprise IT Service Management (EITSM) migrates to new versions
  • Will perform other duties as assigned 

Experience Required 

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must hold an active secret clearance 
  • 10+ years of experience within DoD environment 
  • BMC Certified Professional – The BMC Certified Professional level verifies all required skills to deploy, operate, and troubleshoot our products.
  • BMC Certified Associate – The BMC Certified Associate levels validate the knowledge and skills needed apply best practices on BMC solutions.
  • ITIL v3 Foundations
  • BMC Remedy IT Service Management 7.x: Advanced Solutions for Incident and Problem Management or higher
  • BMC Remedy IT Service Management 7.x: Advanced Solutions for Asset Management and Discovery or higher

The expected annual salary range: $130k - $160k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, location and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.
